Stringer Tip
Boilies and Stringer Tip
There are lots of totally clean gravel areas in Heron Lake and a very productive method is to bait widely with boilies and to fish a stringer amongst them. Don’t make the baited area too tight. Spread your baits around an area of 10 metres x 10 metres and then put a slightly denser concentration of boilies with a catty around the hookbait. Use a 4 bait stringer fished in a loop around the hook and hookbait, and use a very small bright mini boilie or piece of corn / fake boilie as a sight bob.
On a clean bottom this method proves devastating and Mainline Cell boilies have been going intot he lake widely over the last year and the fish love them.
