Rowing Boats At Abbey
UK anglers who are either heading out or planning a trip to the Abbey Lakes complex this summer should note that until further notice, the management are allowing the use of rowing boats. Some of the lakes at Abbey do get weedy through the summer and the usage of boats ensures the majority of carp can be landed safely. The conditions regarding the use of rowing boats are as follows and any angler who does not respect the following rules will be asked to stop using their boat for the remainder of their session.

Rules
The rowing boat is to be used for landing fish only.
It's strictly forbidden to use the rowing boat to bait up or drop hookbaits.
Anglers who use a boat do so entirely at their own risk.
Anglers need to bring their own boat/life jacket - they are not supplied.
The usage of a life Jacket is mandatory.
The rowing boat must stay in the designated area of the anglers swim.

Attila Lake Update
Due to heavy weed in some areas of Attila we advice our visiting anglers to come with their own rowing/inflatable boat.
